Daniel, won the Best Paper Award for Track 2: AI Applications in Agriculture, Fisheries, and Resources at the Artificial Intelligence Festival 2025 (AIFest 2025)

We’re thrilled to share that our project staff, Daniel, won the Best Paper Award for Track 2: AI Applications in Agriculture, Fisheries, and Resources at the Artificial Intelligence Festival 2025 (AIFest 2025), held last August 11–13 at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City.

Carrying the banner of the two projects, Daniel presented a paper that highlights how AI can empower the agriculture sector and contribute to smarter, data-driven farming solutions. Alongside this achievement, Harold also proudly represented the project as a poster exhibitor, showcasing our ongoing efforts and innovations in the field.

This recognition is not only a personal achievement for both, but also a milestone for the entire project and the communities we aim to support. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our project leader, Dr. Armacheska Mesa-Satina, and to the rest of the project staff for their trust, guidance, and for the opportunity to participate in this prestigious event.
